MavLit Publishing, Maverick Literary: Diversity and Versatility
MavLit Publishing began as Maverick Book Editing in 2008, accumulating a clientele base of book authors. With an eye toward identifying emerging trends, an opportunity for greater visibility arose later in the fall of that year by being a part of a Blog Talk Radio show.

In the spring of 2009, Maverick Media on Blog Talk Radio was launched and it quickly became one of the most popular shows on the social network radio medium. Maverick Media on Blog Talk Radio attracted more than 50,000 readers at its peak, and it ranked as high as No. 3 out of more than 2,500 shows that were produced for podcasts each week.

MavLit Publishing diversified once again in 2010, forging into publishing of print and e-books. By the summer of 2011, MavLit Publishing released fiction titles Love, Song & Dance,, and Warped Intentions. As of January 2014, more than a dozen titles have been released by MavLit Publishing, of which book club rights were sold and/or agreed upon for three of our titles with the former Black Expressions Book Club (now Doubleday).

MavLit Publishing is a self-sufficient, true multimedia entity in that it produces all of its content whether it's in Web publishing, video, or the publishing of e-books and print material.
